Compiled by Glenn & Mary Beth Martin. The Eberly family finds its earliest recorded history in Switzerland, and can be identified as early as 1268.
The Eberly family multiplied, and in 1895, Menno Eberly (seventh generation in the New World) married Anna Martin, and settled near Martindale. A father of seven, he was an ambitious businessman and farmer, and is remembered for the two mills he operated most of his adult life — Red Run and Hinkletown.
This book records an abridged history of the Eberly family, and chronicles over 2000 of Menno and Anna Eberly’s descendants.
