This biography is written based on the meticulous content of the diaries of late Bishop Joseph O. Weaver and his wife Fannie. He was known as an humble man who had a gentle way of handling situations that prior bishops in the Weaverland conference hadn’t faced yet. He was ordained to the ministry in 1940, at age thirty six, and then ordained as bishop two years later. Included is a list of the 805 weddings he officiated, a bibliography section, and some letters written by Joe.
