Greasy (Pavel Tikhomirov) is a stirring story of how the Lord transformed a terrible sinner to a new creature in Christ. While Pavel was still a child, his parents died. He was placed in an orphanage, and later joined a band of robbers with whom he committed brutal crimes. The story happened in Russia, at the end of the 1800’s and beginning of the 1900’s, a time of great spiritual awakening in that land. Originally published in Russian, then translated to German, and later to English.
